Can the same character have different story roles?
Yes. A resident can have different relevance when they are alive, dead, a victim, or the active killer in separate playthroughs.

This is why character pages use state-specific sections rather than presenting one schedule or case role as universal.
Why this matters
Character information is especially spoiler-sensitive because a resident may be an ordinary neighbor, romance option, victim, or killer in different campaigns. Profiles keep stable identity facts separate from campaign outcomes and do not invent gifts or schedules.
What remains outside this answer
Unpublished values, schedules, item names, routes, rewards, campaign identities, and platform behavior are not inferred. This page will add exact steps or tables only after an official update or repeatable test in the retail build provides a concrete answer.
