Are the Mines a major Ashenridge area?
Yes. The Mines are one of the seven official major locations and mining is a confirmed activity.
What is confirmed
Mine depth, floor layouts, hazards, enemies, ore tables, reset rules, and tool requirements have not been announced.
Why this matters
Location pages use the official seven-area hierarchy and add interiors only when a real name and player purpose are known. Coordinates, schedules, entrances, resources, and clue states are tested rather than inferred from promotional images.
