Can Characters Die in Grave Seasons?
Yes. Ashenridge residents can die, and official descriptions say their death or survival unlocks different storylines. The player can try to prevent murders but is also allowed to let chaos unfold.
How the mechanic works
Death is not presented as a simple fail state. A victim's outcome changes dialogue, relationships, evidence, and the branches available during that year, which is why character pages need campaign-specific spoiler sections.
What this changes for guide design
Walkthroughs must separate universal systems from campaign-specific answers, record the relevant season and resident state, and keep culprit or victim information behind explicit spoiler controls.
