What the crowbar does
Official gameplay material shows the escaped-convict protagonist carrying a crowbar and using it to force entry through locked doors. This connects a named tool to the broader break-and-enter mechanic instead of treating every locked entrance as scenery.
How it supports investigations
Residents keep clues, histories, and secrets behind private spaces. A forced entrance may reveal evidence or a hidden area, but the correct building, timing, and campaign relevance can change. The crowbar is therefore an access tool, not a guaranteed solution to every murder campaign.
What still needs launch verification
The game has not published the crowbar’s acquisition point, stamina cost, durability, upgrade tree, noise radius, or every compatible door. Those values will be added only after repeatable testing in the retail build.
