Grave Seasons Has No Automatic Nighttime Hard Stop
The 24-hour design keeps Ashenridge explorable after nightfall instead of forcing sleep at a fixed cutoff.
What the official update confirms
The official devlog explains that the team did not want night to halt exploration. Players can remain active while NPCs follow evening routines and ominous events unfold in the dark.
What this changes for players
Night becomes a gameplay state for investigation, social schedules, atmosphere, and access planning rather than a decorative filter. Staying out may help locate residents or examine places unavailable during the day.
What is not confirmed
Exact sleep consequences, exhaustion values, stamina recovery, passing-out rules, and clock speed are not published.
