A Wearable Can Require More Than 70 Sprite Sheets
The developer describes the production scale behind each animated cosmetic item.
What the official update confirms
Because player animations cover up to eight directions and many actions, an individual wearable may be drawn into more than 70 sprite sheets and implemented across over 400 triggered animations.
What this changes for players
The detail explains why cosmetic coverage should record animation compatibility and color variants, not just a static icon. It also shows the cost of expanding the wardrobe.
What is not confirmed
The post does not promise user-created cosmetics, dye crafting, transmog, downloadable outfits, or post-launch wardrobe counts.
